First impression - another light session IPA from Time and Tide. At 5.4% ABV this is American Pale Ale is stronger than it tastes.

Oh yes, I could never forget my first taste of “All in Jim”. We had put to sea in search of an unknown treasure we believed to be beneath Thunder Cliffs. The captain of our vessel was a heavy drinker. They were staggering across deck while we were still anchored in the shallows. Was this crew sober enough to assure safe passage to Thunder Cliffs? The more worrying question was “Is my beer safely hidden from this captain?” Well my prayers were answered when a mutiny by the crew locked our inebriated guide in the brig.

A couple of days sail would get us there and I passed the time treating various ailments of the crew and playing cards.
