Lighthouse is another great beer from Time and Tide Brewing in Deal, Kent.

We caught up with Meremin in the Red Dragon, a local tavern. He claimed to have just returned from another adventure, although no-one saw him or his party on the road into town and who could not miss a band of adventurers like that?

Meremin narrated:

The dragon dropped us as close to the summit of the mountain as it could. It’s the cold air up the mountain that stops those big old lizards from flying proper. We had to walk the rest of the way.

A narrow pass between sheer cliff faces opened out in to a sheltered valley and a run-down castle came into view. Peering through the door we could see a couple cloud giant apparitions pacing the floor. It took those fools at least an hour to decide to try and sneak past with the aid of an invisibility spell. Well, what a waste. I was well into my third bottle of Lighthouse by the time they had made their mind up, so at least I made good use of my time. After all I knew that I would be busy soon enough patching everyone up and I wasn’t wrong.
