Urban Goose comes from Time and Tide Brewing from Deal in Kent.

Urban Goose IPA

First impressions - super cloudy, but light and fruity IPA. This is an unfined / unfiltered beer so the cloudy look is a feature not a fault. Urban Goose gets more fruity towards the bottom. Unfined beers carry more flavour and this could be too fruity for me.

Meremin recounted:

We were herding giant goats to Phandalin as I remember. Great big goats like nothing you have ever seen. It was a funny job really and a bit peculiar to hire a band of adventurers for goat herding. Almost like they knew trouble lay in our path.

We had not got too far into the wilderness when hungry ogres swarmed out of the forest to the west of our path. I ducked into a thicket to watch where aid was needed. The night was dark and my vision was poor. I could hear the party calling out as they fought. I had little to do, the rest of the party were well seasoned and soon saw off the ogres. Without my healing skills needed I called on Helm to send his sacred flames into the battle. I should have stuck to the healing. The ogres saw me illuminated by magic and turned on me. Captain Blare came to my aid, stabbing and biting until the ogres were driven away.

It was Urban Goose all round as we settled back into camp that night. Being a session IPA it was not too strong which suited a quick slug before we tried to get some more shut-eye.
